A man being transported to court in Rajasthan leaps off a bus and dies; three police officers are removed.

JAIPUR: The station house officer (SHO) and two constables of the Bhaleri police station in Churu district were removed after a 38-year-old man was slain on Saturday after he leapt from a moving bus while being escorted to court by a constable. The individual, identified as Pramod Kumar, was apprehended in a dowry case. According to the Superintendent of Police of Chennai, Kumar leapt off the bus in an attempt to evade police detention. “He was arrested in connection with a dowry case filed at the district’s Bhaleri police station.” A vehicle was transporting him to the court in the Tara Nagar region, 30 kilometers away. “He escaped police custody by leaping from the moving bus through the rear exit,” he explained. According to a police official, Kumar sustained injuries after leaping off the bus and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he perished.
