An MP’s escort car crashes.

Kalaburagi MP Umesh Jadhav’s escort car flipped near Sedam on Monday night, injuring three security guards. Jadhav was on his way from Kalaburagi to Bedasur Tanda when the incident took place. The escort truck overturned because its driver failed to notice a hazard on the route. The altercation resulted in injuries for ASI Saleem, driver Malappa, and MP’s gunman Hanamant Pujari. Jadhav, who is also a physician, treated the injured on the scene and transported them to the Gulbarga Institute of Medical Science in his official vehicle.Twenty-three people were hurt when a private bus overturned after hitting a bridge on Betur Road in Davanagere on Tuesday. About fifty people were on board the bus that was traveling from Challakere to Davanagere by way of Jagalur. Some people were rescued when the locals smashed the bus windows. Autorickshaws and ambulances were used to transport the wounded to Chigateri General Hospital. According to hospital staff, no critically wounded patients remain.
