Domestic aid for an industrialist burned in unexplained circumstances.

NEW DELHI: The domestic worker for an industrialist, who was mysteriously admitted with severe burn wounds to a local hospital, passed away from his wounds early on Wednesday. The victim, named as Janeshwar Sharma, was a helper for Anil Nanda, the son of H P Nanda, the former chairman of the Escorts Group. At Nanda’s home in south Delhi’s Friends Colony West, Sharma had a job. Sharma was brought into a hospital on June 9 with 80% burn injuries. Sharma told police that there was a conspiracy behind his murder and that there was a long story behind the attack on him, according to his statement to police. On the day of the incident, Sharma was changing clothes when an unidentified man threw petrol on him and set him on fire. Nanda is the chairman of Akme Projects. Meanwhile, a case of murder has been filed and is being investigated.
