Honey trap ring busted by Hapur police; 15 people, including 12 women, are detained

The scam was exposed when the gang attempted to extort money from a timber trader in Hapur, according to Hapur police.Superintendent of police (SP), Abhishek Verma, said the racket was being run from the Adarsh Nagar colony and Jasroopnagar areas of the city. “The women enticed customers and engaged in physical relationships,” he said. The sex racket operated from residential colonies within the city, according to police sources, and those arrested include men from Hapur and Meerut. The women involved were from Nepal, Meerut, Ghaziabad, and other cities.
