How a report of a theft led to the dismantling of a sex ring in Gurgaon

Gurgaon police have arrested three people, including a woman, in connection with an escort service racket that had been active in the city for at least a year. The arrests were made after a 17-year-old boy reported being beaten and robbed of Rs 4,500 at knifepoint by the suspects. The youngster supposedly made touch with them through smartphone app. The boy’s opinion had altered by the time they reached his residence. However, they allegedly broke into his home, beat him up, and stole the cash. According to ACP (crime) Preet Pal Sangwan, “the accused provided the service through the app. They would decide on the amount after sharing pictures of girls.” Currently, searches are being conducted to apprehend more members of the gang. The suspect’s cell phone and 2,500 Indian rupees have been retrieved by the police.
