Undertrail flees the police’s pursuit

HYDERABAD: On Thursday night, an undercover prisoner broke out of police custody in Rajendranagar. After appearing before a court in Kurnool, 30-year-old Syed Javed, alias Sikandar, was transported to the Chanchalguda prison in an RTC bus, according to the police. When the bus came to a stop close to the Agriculture College, Javed asked the escort staff for permission to answer nature’s call. He ran away as soon as he got off the bus, making his getaway under the cover of night. A theft case in Kurnool led to the arrest of Javed, a resident of Kishanbagh in the Old City. Police in Rajendranagar are looking into it. The escort staff is being subject to disciplinary action by the police.
